LK Ableton LIVE no ANDROID e iOS (Tutorial PT/BR)

Hi people!Welcome to KV Music Beats Youtube channel.

Who speaks to you is Remagic, Today I am here to tell you about an application, To remote control of Ableton LIVE.

The application is called LK Control.

It is an application for mobile devices, For we can control Ableton LIVE, without using the computer peripherals.

Keyboard, mouse or other physical equipment, as the Novation Launchpad, Launchkey etc.

This application serves precisely to create the Ableton interface On your phone or tablet, so we can control Ableton LIVE that way.

In addition to the control of Ableton LIVE, can do: LIVE Act, MIDI Pad, MIDI Drums, can control effects, MIDI, We can make a vast control of Ableton LIVE on our device.

As you can see on the screen, the application is already being recorded.

What we are seeing is the LIVE environment, the Session View environment, the environment where I will be able to LIVE Act.

I will launch samples / clips for you to see.

This application creates very well the Ableton Live environment.

But to have this application on your mobile device you will have to meet some processes and this is what I will explain.

Later on, I will bring more videos on this topic for the channel.

And explain other techniques, use of Ableton LIVE.

What I'm talking about here will be an analysis and quick tutorial, environments and how it was installed this program.

Basically what you need to do to run the program correctly on your mobile device and PC / MAC.

So the first thing.

we have to always do (obviously) is install the LK Crontol Ableton LIVE on mobile device.

In my case, I'm using a Huawei P8, It has 8 processing cores, which means that I can use the application in real time and without lag or with low latency.

Be very careful when they are testing this application in your devices.

The first thing to do is go to Google Play (android) or App Store (iOS) (links on description).

In this video I will focus on Windows and Android.

And not iOS.

This is a Windows / Android video.

However the iOS platform will work in much the same way but in this video we will only focus on these operating systems.

The first thing to do is install the LK Control Ableton LIVE on the device.

Once you have LK installed on the device you will see that it will not work with Ableton LIVE (yet).

Even if you are connected by USB.

So what are we going to do? We will install what will allow you to create a bridge between the device and Ableton LIVE.

Called LK Bridge.

The 3.

1.

5 version is the one I tested it and it apparently works.

I tested other versions that does not work and this is recommended.

In the download section you will choose the type of your operating system.

If you are using Windows, there is a problem and LK does not create the virtual drive to the Abelton LIVE control.

So you will have to do a manual installation of LOOPBE1 (link in description).

This is what will allow the connection between LK Bridge and Ableton LIVE.

(Only for Windows / Android operating systems) In IOS, LOOPBE1 is not necessary.

Once you have the LK Control on the mobile device, LK Bridge on the PC and the LOOPBE1 installed.

You have make sure everything is properly configured in LK Bridge (PC).

In the MIDI section you will choose: LOOPBE Internal MIDI.

Below, you'll drag and drop your DAW icon (Ableton version).

For KL Bridge know the DAW being used.

Finally it appears the mobile device identification (IP format).

In the mobile device must appear in the "Connection" section, the PC name, as you can see here the name of my equipment.

"DESKTOP-NCPPD2T" And this link, that is made between my mobile and PC (home network) It is made through the local network (home network) via wireless (in this case).

Through my FTTH/ ADSL router (via wifi).

The connection of my mobile device is made by wireless and the PC by RJ45 (Ethernet).

After all this checked and set, you have to go to the MIDI preferences in Ableton LIVE and configure LK.

LK must be activated on Control Surface and Remote section as well.

You can confirm that is ON on both sections.

By the way, I'll just rearrange the windows here.

And let's try.

Is that what you want to see too :) What I have here is not a lot and the examples I have here are simple.

In this example I have a Synth sample, a Drum sample, a Crash sample and then I have a Drum Rack and bassline instrument to play on USER 1 mode.

So, let's drop the samples.

By the way, to hear.

At this time the samples are playing in the first environment (as is selected on LK) the Session View, and I control all sample clips with my fingers.

I can control the PAN and the individual VOLUME of each track.

Who says the PAN and VOLUME, says the CUE etc.

But for now this is what I can control here.

In the second environment of LK we have the USER 1 mode, like the Novation Launchkey and Novation Launchpad.

Especially in the Novation Launchpad where I can play any instrument here.

At this point I have not selected, so I will choose on computer one bassline instrument and look.

If I want to play another drumrack on Ableton PC session, I can ARM another drumrack on Session View Environment, return to the USER mode and play again.

And beat goes on.

I will return to session session view mode.

ARM the bassline again, which is what I want to play, and I can do both at the same time.

Play the drum clips automatically and play the bassline manually.

Got it? About all LK environments: The first environment is the Session View.

Note: in the Session View environment, we have more controls one right side of the screen.

These here: PLAY, STOP, REC, Riding back and forth, which is very interesting, look, I'll have the beat playing with the sample, and now, walking back on beat.

Who can walk back can also move forward.

We also have the repeat function and all transport controls of Ableton LIVE in the right panel of LK.

Furthermore We will have the USER 1 mode.

Here you can control the whole MIDI part.

Not yet explored but I will explore later in the next videos: How to configure the MIDI control.

And in the end, the X / Y PAD environment To control the effects, envelopes and automations through the fingertips.

In the top menu we can control the position, beat time and picth of Ableton LIVE, all remotely via mobile device.

The metronome also, whether connected or not.

For example: Now I want to turn off the drums.

And I want to MIDI Pad on the drum rack.

Got it? And beat goes on.

Just let me off the project and metronome.

Since I started this video that I have not touched the keyboard and PC mouse.

I am controlling all Ableton LIVE via the mobile device.

It is very very nice !!! :) And it becomes more human the production and creation process.

Ok? Also just to note the connection settings (already explained).

The program features (sometimes) some bugs when opening and closing.

Ceases to be detectable and have to restart the LK Control.

Note that the order of use of the applications are: LOOPBE1 always on.

And then restart the LK Control if the device is not being recognized or discoverable.

The connection is made by the local area network (LAN).

By router via wireless connection.

And there is not much more to add to ensure the correct operation of the application.

Make sure always of Ableton LIVE MIDI settings, it is very important.

For KL Control works.

And this way we can control the entire Ableton LIVE remotely via your mobile device (phone or tablet).

I hope you enjoyed it and learned something new with this video.

This is a good application for those who have no equipment and MIDI hardware.

To pad MIDI and MIDI keys.

I have here in the channel, the Launchpad, Launchkey and other keyboards I already explained by video tutorials.

But there was talk of this feature.

Because this is the trend, increase music production on mobile devices.

And getting here is a good start.

We will not produce music right now, in LK Control, first let's learn how to control the DAW via the mobile device.

To get one more external MIDI controller.

OK? :) Check out the playlists in the video description where I talk more about MIDI pad, MIDI keys e MIDI control.

Also Ableton LIVE tutorials, music production tips and techniques etc.

Like, share and fav the vídeo, subscribe and leave a coment.

Leave any questions you have, without exception in the comments section of the video, which I will answer as soon as possible.

ok?.

And, That's all.

I'll stay here, I say farewell with a big hug and halla !! Help us correct subtitles.

Special thanks to Adriel Martir.
